Richard Johnston
Chief Executive Officer
Richard possesses 24 years of pharmaceutical industry experience, with expertise in integrating sophisticated statistical and operations research technologies with advanced computing and information delivery systems, market research, management science issues.
Richard's extensive experience and accomplishments include: Associate Director Management Science, Pfizer Inc., and Vice President Strategic Consulting, Health Products Research CEO, Amaxis, Inc. – a division of Quintiles Transnational and Principal developer of the first PC-based optimal territory alignment system. Richard was also a pioneer in the development of physician prescription database and physician prescription projection methodology.

John Ryan
Executive Vice President, Sales & Marketing
John joined AdvantageMS in 2002 with 18 years of senior management experience. Prior to joining AdvantageMS he founded RBO Funding in McLean, VA, a pioneer in the alternative financial market place. Under his leadership RBO grew to include operations in Virginia, Maryland, District of Columbia and North Carolina. RBO became a trusted supplier to national and regional banks such as Citibank, Chase Manhattan, George Mason, Wells Fargo, Norwest and many more. In 1999 National Penn Bank, PA acquired RBO Funding and John was appointed to Director of Sales for Penn 1st Financial Services a subsidiary of National Penn Bank.
During John’s time at AdvantageMS he has established the company as a trusted vendor for sales operations services including master data management, territory alignment and strategic consulting.

Edward Manko III
Vice President, Sales
Ed brings fourteen years of healthcare expertise spanning sales management, sales, account management, systems processing, and client services. Ed joined the sales team of AdvantageMS in 2007 and in his current role acts as the leader of the sales organization.
Prior to joining AdvantageMS, Ed spent time working for IMS Health where he excelled in client services and sales. He was an organizational leader ensuring the consistent satisfaction and growth within many of the US’s largest pharmaceutical companies. He also built a base of healthcare knowledge working for BCBS of NJ in multiple client service and system integration roles.

James Kahan
Senior Director, HDM Operations
James has been in the MDM space for 13 years, 10 specifically in the life sciences vertical. Prior to joining AdvantageMS he was responsible for multi-national projects with Cegedim (pre Dendrite) and rolled out SFA systems across 10 countries and the Caribbean.
Since joining AdvantageMS James has successfully completed client migrations from WKH to IMS and back as well as managing the integration of the customer master data sets for the largest biotech merger in recent history.

Richard A. Johnston
Senior Director, Client Operations
RJ has a BS in Business Administration – Management from Monmouth University in West Long Branch, NJ. RJ joined AdvantageMS in 2002 and has held multiple leadership roles in the organization.
In his current capacity he leads the client operations team which is one of the largest at AdvantageMS. His team is responsible for the high quality deliverables made by AdvantageMS on a daily basis. As part of the senior management team he helps guide the organization focus on developing innovations that will have the most impact on client deliverables and business.
